Holiday Nails
My manicures are usually pretty basic. French manicures with maybe some glitter or white nails with some gold. I prefer a neutral nail that goes with everything, and I can get longevity out of. While nail colors are fun, you really do have to switch them up often, because they aren’t a good basic nail. My only exception is come Christmas time. I want all the festive nails! Whether it is Greens or reds. And I want all the festive designs!
This year I had thought of doing a more neutral nail with gold and white which has been my obsession this year. Maybe I would do a bow, or a snowflake with those colors. But Google is both amazing AND a kryptonite and I ended up going in a completely different direction and I am obsessed!
My nails
I first searched for white nails with gold, and I THOUGHT I had an idea, until a picture popped up of red, green, and gold polka dots on white nails and friends I ended up doing a last minute switch. My nail tech, who is amazing, called me to get my nails done and as I sat down, and she asked what design I wanted, the polka dots were the last picture I had pulled up and I went with it and I could not be happier! It is such a different manicure compared to the usual festiveness you see. The reds and greens pop and the gold, adds just that pop of glitter y’all know I love. I know I said it before, but I am truly obsessed. It even matches my favorite Starbuck’s holiday Red cup! They might be my favorite holiday nails to date!
