Friday Favorites

Hello friends! Happy Friyay! It is about time for another Friday Favorites Edition and I HAD to do one in June since it IS my birthday month not to mention summer has OFFICIALLY begun! Woot! June was an amazing month and I am so sad it is coming to an end, but also super grateful for all the memories I have made. It really was a month in the books! I end it with my heart bursting with gratitude and so excited for the next few months! 

I have so many amazing favorites to share with you all! As always, some links are affiliated at no extra cost to you, but it does help me fund my coffee addiction and gas money for beach trips. So thank you in advance! Let’s get started!

Peonies

I had to share this one right away because friends I have been waiting forever and a year for peonies to FINALLY bloom up in New England. I never realized how far behind New England is when it comes to flowers blooming until I came back here. But friends, our bloom season happens more in summer then spring and not going to lie it majorly bums me out. Of course since it DOES happen in June, I cannot complain to much. Peonies are one of my favorite flowers (the other being orchids!) and so I was ecstatic to finally get some peonies. And they are JUST starting to open up!

Beach Cover-up

This beach cover-up is a must have from Pink Lily. I love the knitted material and it is long without being to long! It is perfect for slipping over your swimsuit when you need to run to the car to grab something or if you want to take a walk along the beach. It comes in several colors and I have literally been rocking it all summer, which since summer JUST started, is saying a lot.

Sail Boat Rides

I’ll be sharing more about my sail boat ride, but I had to mention it because it was so amazing and one of my favorite things I did in June. (well technically May) Every year I go sailing with the exception of last year (stupid covid!) and this year I was so happy to be able to go again! Nothing beats being out on the water, and there is something so incredible about being in a hundred year old schooner sailing on the Atlantic.

Starbucks Strawberry Açaí Lemonade

Did you ever think you would see the day where I was drinking anything OTHER then coffee? Well friends that day is HERE! I am obsessed with Starbuck’s Strawberry Açaí Lemonade. I don’t know where it has been all my life, but I am so happy it is here now! I admit I do tend to drink iced green tea lemonades from time to time especially when I was in New York and had just finished a run or a hot class, but cold brew coffee has always bee my jam. Until now! These are heavenly and so refreshing on a hot summer day!

Bath Bombs

Oh my gosh it was like it was Christmas, or well my birthday! My best friend got me ALL the bath bombs from Lush and I was in bath bomb bliss! It was especially perfect because my parents had gone away for the week, so I had the house to myself to soak to my hearts content complete with strawberry açaí lemonade and Netflix!

I use to do this all the time in my apartment so it was nice to have a few days where I could do it on repeat!

Chappy Wrap

Happy birthday to me! I have been coveting the Ginger Jar Chappy Wrap in collaboration with Sara Fitz for over a year! And finally I snagged one! Oh happy days! It was worth the wait and every bit as amazing in person as it appeared in pictures. They really are the best blankets and are perfect for cool summer nights as well as beach blankets on beach days!

Sewcialite clutch and earrings

Another Happy Birthday to me! My parents gifted me this stunning clutch by Sewcialite! It honestly isn’t a birthday or holiday without SOMETHING from Mrs. Sewcialite and I am obsessed with this clutch. While I own several of her bags, I actually don’t own any of her clutches for which she is well known for. Well now that has been rectified and I am ecstatic! I love the Lily Pulitzer inspired print and the beaded sea horse on the front is so cute!

As if that wasn’t enough Roula, the amazing creative talent behind Sewcialite came out with a new earring design and friends they are stunning and by far my favorite earrings she has made yet (I know, I know, I keep saying that!) they really are gorgeous! She named them Sea Chimes and they make such a statement! I have been rocking mine since I got them!

Gemini Rings

Rounding out my Friday Favorites for June it is only mention I share these Zodiac rings. If you know me, you know I identify as a Gemini to my core and I love rocking Gemini jewelry. (I even had a Kate Spade bracelet which unfortunately met its demise on the subway escalator…long story) When I saw these rings from Anthropologie I knew I HAD to have them. They are dainty yet still make a statement and they have become part of my every day jewelry which I love!
