Happy Monday friends AND Happy May! Not sure how it is May but as the saying goes April Showers bring May Flowers and I am so excited with all the blooms! It is also the first Monday in May and friends the Met Gala is back! Earlier in the week I walked past the Met and saw them setting up for the gala, and I got super excited. After two years and a hybrid version in September, it is back in all of its glory tonight and I am ecstatic to see ALL the fashion. I also can’t wait to see how they pull it off, as this is a sequel of sorts to the gala in September. This really is the Super Bowl of fashion!

Feels Like Spring

Fashion aside, it finally feels like spring and I am so dang excited. Heck I feel like this post is just one big post of excitement. At least that is MY current mood, and friends I do NOT hate it! After the winter doldrums and the seasonal effectiveness disorder we all deserve some cheerfulness and sunshine! And mother nature has been delivering in epic fashion!

The other day I walked twelve miles around the city and Central Park taking pictures and admiring the blooms. And oh how they were blooming! Everything was green, lush, and oh so beautiful and I was in heaven! I don’t think there is anything better then cherry blossom season. It is so short, but oh so worth it. It feels like a gift from Mother Nature and I am trying to soak it up as long as the trees are blooming!
