Merry Christmas Eve 2022

“I will honor Christmas in my heart and try to keep it all the year.” ~ Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol

Merry Christmas Eve friends!

I can not believe that it is Christmas Eve. This season has sped by so quickly, but my heart is so full. So many memories have been made this season. Not to keep harping on the past but after the last couple years I feel like this is exactly WHAT I needed. Not only has this season been so full of joy, it has restored me to me. Being able to be with family and good friends again and being back in the city I so dearly love I feel like I am ending 2022 with Kate being back!

By no means was this holiday season easy. While I began early and felt like I was going to be on top of everything, it got derailed by health scares both with myself and close family members, but ultimately those moments have made me appreciate this season all the more, as has the last couple years. Life is so fleeting, and we really do need to hold onto the special memories and keep those connections alive.

Christmas this year is one big get together with family and I couldn’t be happier! It reminds me of when I was a child and we would all get together and have sleep overs whether at my parents or go to my grandparents, play flashlight tag, go hiking, and snowmobiling, and doing ALL the things. While we are all grown up, now the next generation is here and I love seeing it through their eyes. It is absolutely magical to continue the traditions bandpass along the memories to them.

My Advent Calendar

It is crazy to think my Advent Calendar has come to an end. I have always enjoyed doing them and I got lots of goodies, many different then in years passed. But I also had the usual like days 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, and 19, nail file, charcoal nose strip, eye shadow, make-up remover wipes, top coattail polish, lip mask, and body wash which is one of my favorites. On day 20, I got a fuzzy sherpa scrunchie that I am excited about. Day 21 was cleanser and day 22 was red lip liner. on day 23 it was nail polish and as the last little present I got a mini gun sha which I loved and was unique. I will say, I don’t feel like this calendar was as good as last years. Though it was still fun and I will definitely do it again next year, but last year they really nailed it! I also got an after christmas calendar which I can not wait to begin opening it on December 26!

Have a Merry Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve has always been filled with tradition, from going to mass, to putting out stockings and reindeer food, to a big dinner and Christmas movies. This year is no different, and if anything it is even better with family being here. While I love the holidays, especially Christmas, I have always said it is really for the kids (which yeah know I am one at heart!) and I can not wait to spend it with my goddaughter and al the other littles in my life! I hope you all have an incredible Christmas Eve, filled with so much joy! Thank you so much for reading friends and tagging along this December and always I so greatly appreciate you! <3
