What DO I Wear: Christmas PJ’s Cozy Style

“Every Christmas Eve, the elves will come and give us a new pair of pajamas.” ~ Sabrina Carpenter

PJ Obsessed

Last year was a year of a lot of firsts as far as fashion and new Christmas traditions go. As a family, we never did the new pajamas on Christmas morning that a lot of people do. And as an adult I am not a huge Pajama wearer. As someone who not only loves versatile clothing but lives in Lululemon slash yoga wear, as a former yoga instructor and now staying at home cause of a pandemic, their shorts and a sports jersey are my preferred choice of sleep wear. It isn’t anything against pajama sets, but they are definitely a splurge that doesn’t lend itself exactly to versatility.

That changed last year after I decided to be a bit more festive during the holiday season and bought flannel PJ’s from Pink Lily. Which coincidentally, I can and do wear the sweatshirt for daily use as well as sleepwear. This year as I perused Pink Lily’s site, which also happens to be having 50 percent off right now on PJ’s, I went down the pajama hole and decided to pick up another set. They had so many cute options that I could not resist getting another set and I am SO happy I did!

The Set

I actually did not read the fine print on this set, which I probably should have, but am also happy I didn’t, because it was a joyful and fuzzy surprise! I loved the old fashioned ski aprés vibes of the print. I much prefer shorts to sleep in and I loved how the shirt was cropped. I sized up in them, as Pink Lily can run on the smaller side.

When I got them, I realized they weren’t just cotton PJ’s but fuzzy fleece! Which made them ten times better in my opinion. I actually went back on to see if Pink Lily had anymore patterns in this material. Alas they didn’t, (maybe next year!) but it just makes me even more obsessed with them!

Sizing up was definitely a good idea, as the pajamas were lose and comfy and didn’t make me feel self conscious. The crop top wasn’t to short, and I actually have worn it with high waisted leggings since. The shorts were the perfect length, not to short, while still being comfy.

While I will definitely rock these Christmas morning, they are the perfect cozy comfy set to rock all season long! I feel like I am wearing a big fuzzy blanket or perhaps snuggy and it makes me so happy! I love anything that is cozy and these fit that to a tee!
