Happy Happy Monday friends! I feel like their is so much to celebrate in fashion lately! New York Fashion Week just ended. And the Met Ball is back! Tonight! It almost makes up for all the fall like weather we have been having and the shorter days, with all the exciting goings on in the fashion world. Almost!
But if that wasn’t enough friends, Lilly Pulitzer just kicked off her two days only, 48 hours, Summer Sunshine Sale! I know, I know that is a mouth full, but it is so worth it!
Summer Sunshine Sale
In case you don’t follow Lilly Pulitzer, her stuff NEVER goes on sale. In fact she doesn’t even have a sales section! I feel like Christmas has come early, because this really is the sales of all sales and Black Friday doesn’t even have anything on this! Twice a year, Lilly Pulitzer holds a blink and you miss it sales event to clear out her summer and winter inventory. Now, is really the chance to snag items you may have been craving, but were cringing at the price tags.
Because let’s be real, while I love Lilly Pulitzer, with her nautical vibes, colorful prints, and classic silhouettes, she is definitely a splurge. I adore her maxi dresses. They are some of the most comfortable, yet still classy dresses to own, but they are definitely an investment. With the Summer Sunshine Sale many are under a hundred dollars, which s a steal when they push three hundred dollars!
One of my favorite dresses, which is perfect for the summer or a tropical beach vacay is the Kristen Swing Dress. It is a classic a-line dress but with a bit of a party in the back with a criss-cross detailing. I love it, it is so flattering, and it comes in multiple prints which are on sale!
Similar in style, Yeah. kinda have a problem to swing dresses, what can I say?) but with a ruffle on the bottom is the Evelyn Swing Dress, which I actually snagged today! I can not wait to get it and rock it!
