What Do I Wear: One Last Christmas Graphic Tee

“Christmas… is not an external event at all, but a piece of one’s home that one carries in one’s heart.” ~ Freya Stark

It Is Almost Here

I can’t believe Blogmas is coming to a close and that tomorrow is Christmas Eve, but I have one last festive What Do I Wear?!?! Blog post to share. It is no secret I became obsessed with festive graphic tees this season. As I have written previously I might just need an intervention. I also have contemplated rocking them all year long, because why the heck not? They are fun, sassy, and all the ones I own represent me to my core. I mean Christmas and Coffee every day? Yes, please, and thank you!

Pink Lily has always won the graphic tee game no matter what the time of year is hands down. They aren’t just cheeky, but always so on trend with the in at the moment vernacular and I love it. This season, especially they killed it and I just saw a sneak peek of their winter collection, which is going to be just as entertaining as their Christmas one was. Anytime someone is a smart aleck about hating winter, I am SO down!

Son Of a Nutcracker

This Graphic tee, just might be my favorite one, and I received it at the last minute. Legit, it came the day before I left for my Vermont trip last weekend. It also shockingly makes no reference to Christmas and coffee. And yes I still like it. In fact, I love it!

Elf is one of my favorite movies, and I was finally able to share it with one of my nephew’s this year and he is just as obsessed with the move as I am. Thus I NEEDED an Elf referenced graphic tee. Pink Lily had several, including a “Cotton Headed Ninny Muggins,” one, but it was “Son of a Nutcracker” complete with Buddy’s hat above that spoke to me. 235889C0-74D7-4159-9AEF-F99E012DEE50

While I try (and at times fail miserably) to keep my language clean on my blog, if you met me in real life, you might be shocked to hear me drop the occasional F bomb (as long as there were no kids around). I have also been known to come up with some more creative expletives that are not quite expletives, (shizzle is one of them) which is why I love “Son of a Nutcracker.” It is both genius and still gets the point across albite in a festive manner.

Styling

I have literally styled this ALL the ways, because I love the quote so much and have been wearing it everywhere, (And yes I have owned it less then two weeks) I love that this shirt is long sleeved, and like the others I have bought, I went up a size for a more oversized look. It is actually a thicker tee and feels more sweatshirt-esque then a regular tissue tee. Because it is black you can dress it up especially if it was more fitted. I have paired it with a buffalo plaid vest for a little added warmth, worn it with jeans and booties, as well as gone super casual with leggings and sneakers.

There is a very high probability I might be wearing this Christmas morning whether it is with my buffalo plaid PJ’s or with leggings I haven’t decided, yet. It is so fun and festive and we all need Buddy the Elf with us on Christmas Morning!
