Green with Envy

Green is one of my favorite colors. It instantly makes everything seem summery and bright. There is nothing I adore more then a great green motif whether it be a dress, earrings, a jacket or a duster. The last being one of my favorite items of clothing, as it is not only easy to style it, but also so incredibly versatile. And when it is green AND a duster? I am in heaven!

This green duster from Anthropologie, truly is the creme of the de la creme of style, And further affirms WHY I am an Anthro-addict. I love the long length of this maxi duster, which on me truly IS a maxi length. The billowy sleeves are not only on trend, but a favorite detail of mine that always sells me when I buy clothing. It is simple yet elegant and I adore the linen fabric, which also has some weight to it.

Styling It

As I mentioned above, it is so easy to style. Dusters can either be a statement for any outfit or used as a cover-up and this is both. I have styled it over dresses, as well as paperbag shorts and white jeans. It also pairs well with many of the accessories I have like these green chinoiserie beaded hoop earrings from Sewcialite, and this Betty bag also from Sewcialite. This is one piece that can be dressed up or down and I love the versatility of that. It is why, while it might definitely be an investment piece, but one that is so worth it. I truly can rock this all year long, and dare I say it, well into fall? I know, I know! The Summer Solstice was just the other day! But hey a fashionista is always landing ahead and seeing all the options with her clothes, and this duster lends itself to ALL the options and I am truly obsessed!

What do you think of this duster? Are you an Anthro Addict?
