“I really like structured coats and layered scarves, and I especially love cashmere sweaters.” ~ Tamara Feldman
One of my favorite fall and winter pieces is this turtleneck sweater tunic from Anthropologie. EVERYONE needs this in their wardrobe. I bought it two years ago and my only regret is they didn’t offer it in more colors.
// Hat, Tunic, necklace and Cardigan: Anthropologie // Leggings: Lulu Lemon // Boots: Steve Madden // Clutch: Alaina Marie Bait Bags // Cuff: Light House Designs.
What makes this sweater so great?
Well first of all the cut. I admit turtlenecks can irritate me. Being either to bulky, or to tight, I am constantly searching for the happy medium. This is that, fitting comfortably around my neck. I also love how the cut is almost halter like, showcasing my shoulders in an incredibly flattering way. Show those deltoids off baby!
Second it is a loose, but fitted style. Which might sound like an oxymoron, but it isn’t I swear. It hugs in all the right places, but still makes you feel comfortable if you splurged on to many tacos or boozy brunches. It has slits on the side, making you able to move with ease and the wool blend is soft without being itchy.
Thirdly, this is truly a versatile piece. I have worn it out to a dressy five star restaurant, and Broadway, as well as too class, and the fair. Styling is incredibly easy as the hunter green color makes it pair well with most colors.
While I am guilty of recycling this over and over, I have yet to reach styling fatigue with this piece.
What do you think of this tunic and outfit? Do you have that one staple piece that you wear constantly?
I seriously just ordered like five of these from forever21! I am OBSESSED. So cozy and you look gorg in it as usual!
