Palm Prints

Happy Sunday and Happy Palm Sunday friends! I don’t like to get to preachy and I promise I won’t, but today kicks off Holy Week, which is one of my favorite weeks of the year. I was not only raised Catholic, but I am also of Eastern European descent and this week especially holds a lot of meaning and has a ton of familial traditions which have been passed down from generation to generation. Just recently my Mom stumbled upon a letter my great grandmother had sent my grandmother, her daughter, and it was filled with recipes that I have grown up with. Seeing that was so incredibly special as she had passed before I was born.

But I am majorly digressing. Given that it is Palm Sunday, I thought it was fitting or perhaps I am just taking liberties, to share some of my favorite palm printed clothing items. It is safe to say that I am palm obsessed. I love a good palm tree AND palm leaf print. There is something tropical and whimsical about them, and they always put me in the best moods. I have to say I own quite a bit of clothing in the fun festive palm print patterns and Pink Lily hands down has the best clothes for fun palm prints. So without further adieu, here are some of my favs!

Palm Tree Sweater

This palm tree sweater from Pink Lily might be my favorite thing. While it has a lightweight weave to it, it is still cozy. it is perfect to throw over a swimsuit, OR you can dress it up with a pair of jeans or a skirt. I literally live in it all spring and summer channeling that tropical feeling.

Red and Orange Tropical Dress

I am obsessed with this dress from Pink Lily. And it really is business in the front and party in the back, with the high neck line, and fluttery sleeved style of the front. But then when you turn around it has a cut out back that ties. It actually makes for the perfect Easter Dress. And the skirt even has some sway. This print also comes in the cutest shirt and short set.

Palm Print Swimwear

Okay maybe this isn’t Palm Sunday approved, but I am sharing all things palm print, and nothing is better then a palm printed bikini. This is also from Pink Lily and comes in one of their few (but by far MY favorite styles) halter styled tops.

Palm Print Sarong

What is a palm printed bikini without a palm printed sarong? Nothing! I am obsessed with this effortless yet fun sarong from Lulu’s. And the best part is that it doubles as a scarf or very lightweight blanket.

Halter Dress

I love the pastel blues and pinks of this palm printed dress. It is so delicate and feminine. It is also insanely comfortable, while I still feel chic in it and was my Easter Dress last year for the Easter Vigil. This print also comes it a beautiful romper style.

Are you a fan of the palm print? Do you have any Easter traditions?
